Bibetech’s new organic line is born from a commitment by the company that wants to make a concrete contribution to protecting the environment. In recent years we have invested heavily in research & development and will certainly continue to do so, increasingly orienting our production towards eco-sustainability. In our Pianezze plant, in fact, we have been producing compostable disposable products in biopolymers for some time now.<\/p>\n

Safeguarding the planet<\/h3>\n

Waste disposal is certainly one of the most pressing issues of the last decade.
\nThe historical moment we are experiencing pushes us to make profound reflections on the environmental issue.
\nTo safeguard our planet, each one of us must make a U-turn and adopt an absolutely more eco-sustainable lifestyle starting from the little things.<\/p>\n

Bio-compostable plastic: an alternative to traditional plastic.<\/h3>\n

For each disposable product (tableware, ice cream sticks, etc.) in traditional plastic, Bibetech offers the bio-compostable alternative in Mater-Bi.<\/p>\n

What is Mater-Bi<\/h3>\n

Mater-Bi is one of the new bioplastics, mainly obtained from vegetable starches, completely biodegradable and compostable according to the European standard EN 13432.
\nPrecisely for these characteristics, the use of Mater-Bi allows to optimize the management of organic waste, reduce the environmental impact guaranteeing significant advantages throughout the production-consumption-disposal cycle.
\nIt is important to know that compostable products in biopolymers take about six months to completely degrade once correctly disposed of.
\nMater-Bi has characteristics and properties of use completely similar to traditional plastics in terms of resistance (it can resist up to 80\u00b0) and functionality. Precisely for this reason it is suitable to replace plastic in many areas. At Bibetech we use Mater-Bi for the production of compostable disposable products.<\/p>\n

\nThe Bibetech branded compostable disposable product line is a concrete proposal for an eco-sustainable choice in various commercial and collective catering contexts.<\/p>\n

Our short-term goal<\/h3>\n

Complete the technical studies currently underway to produce bioplastic packaging suitable for food use, eco-friendly, recyclable and 100% compostable.
