Bibetech: share capital rises to 5 million, Plastindustria Mantovana acquired

Two important goals achieved by the group based in Montecchio Maggiore that aims for 35 million in turnover
2022 began with growth for the Bibetech group of Montecchio Maggiore.
The three partners Luca Biasiolo (CEO), Gian Pietro Bergamin (president) and Renzo Facchini increased the share capital from 3.5 to 5 million euros. The commitment in terms of financial solidity was accompanied by the acquisition of the company Plastindustria Mantovana.
“We firmly believe in the growth of the group – explains CEO Luca Biasiolo – in which we shareholders intend to invest continuously. In this sense we wanted to reach 5 million in share capital, a very significant share for a medium-sized company like ours. And with the aim of further diversifying our production, we acquired Plastindustria Mantovana, with which the Bibetech group enters the automotive world with greater force, where we were only marginally present. Now we aim to exceed 35 million in group turnover as early as 2022”.
Plastindustria Mantovana has been operating in the automotive world for over 40 years with the activity of molding plastic materials thanks to 18 presses distributed over 4,500 square meters of warehouses. In addition to car components, it also produces products for the magnetic, photographic, telephony and consumer goods packaging industries.
The Bibetech group was founded in the early 1970s and with the acquisition of Plastindustria Mantovana it reaches 270 employees. It operates in the packaging, anti-theft, optics, components, capsules, automotive and medical sectors, of which it controls the entire production cycle. It has a machine park consisting, after the new acquisition, of 90 injection presses from 50 to 500 tons, capable of printing a wide range of superpolymers, polymers, biodegradable/compostable materials and bi-materials, using various types of plastics.
The most recent years have been characterized by other important acquisitions: in 2019 it acquired Internova Pack di Pianezze in the Vicenza area, which produces food containers, and in 2020 Internova Stampi which designs and manufactures steel molds and matrices. The acquisitions are in addition to the new plants: the one in Monteviale, where the Idealed division was located, and the one in Labin in Croatia inaugurated in 2017.
The group closed 2021 with a 20% increase in turnover over 2020; in just over ten years it has grown from 2 million euros in revenues in 2008 to over 30 million in 2021.
Bibetech was selected for the ELITE program of Borsa Italiana in view of the possible listing on the stock exchange with Intesa Sanpaolo as advisor.
The Bibetech group is also a protagonist in culture, having financed important operations such as the lighting of the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza with the Idealed division, and in sport as the official partner of Lanerossi Vicenza. Bibetech is certified Iso 9001, Iso 14000, Iso 45001 and BRC.
